The East Keswick Local History Group were offered an old ledger  which included mentions of the Moon’s grocery business in the village and the opening of the ‘new’ railway station in Bardsey. Research by Margaret Moseley revealed it to be the work of a  Bardsey schoolmaster. On Thursday 31st January you can hear much more about the life and times that this ledger revealed

Yorkshire Dales River Trust is asking for volunteers (including families) to help tree plant and do other work which will improve local becks, establish wildlife habitats and reduce flood risk. Hot drinks provided. Just turn up!
