Duke of Wellington shut for electric updating

The Duke of Wellington pub on Main Street is closed for at least a week whilst a major electrical issue is sorted. New managers James and Paula have had to overcome a series of obstacles recently including a faulty oven but this latest one should be the final hurdle they hope. When the pub was open at Christmas and New Year it was well attended and attracting good reviews on its catering. The pub also won a new cask mark seal of approval for its Timothy Taylor ale amounts others.

It’s hoped the pub will be fully open by mid to late January.
