Village Christmas Tree lit up

Several dozen villagers and children turned up to see the village Christmas Tree switched on recently. It’s the third year of the annual event which saw all present enjoy mince pies, mulled wine, hot chocolate and sweets for the children.

The tree stands at the junction of Main Street and School Lane.

The Parish Council would like to thank Dave from the Old Star for the Hot Chocolate and Village Voices for leading all present in Christmas carols.
