Elections – 4 May 2023

Notice is hereby given that elections are to be held in the village for Leeds City Council on May 4th. If the seven places on East Keswick Parish Council are contested then the election will also take place the same day. Nomination papers and details can be obtained from the office of the Returning Officer, Electoral Services, Civic Hall, Leeds LS1 1UR or from www.leeds.gov.uk/elections.

Applications to register to vote must reach that office or www.gov.uk/register-to-vote by midnight Monday 17 April. Applications, amendments or cancellations of postal votes must reach the office by 5pm Tuesday 18 April. Applications for a Voter authority Certificate or Anonymous Electors Document deadline is 5pm Tuesday 25th April at that office or www.gov.uk/voting-photo-id. Applications to vote by proxymust be made by 5pm Tuesday 25th April. Applications to vote by emergency proxy at this election must reach the office by 5pm Thursday 4th May
