Village walks planned for July

Each July the Parish Council runs two village walks. A short walk on village footpaths and a longer one taking in the river meadows close to the parish boundaries. Whilst each walk is a pleasurabel evenit and everyone is invited, it does have a serious reason which is to prove -if it were even needed- that each footpath is used so protecting its status. The longer village walk will set off from outside St Mary Magdelene Church on Moor Lane on Tuesday 6th July at 7pm. It’s a really pleasant walk and a good chance to network with other villagers. Everyone is welcome, even well behaved dogs. Hope you can make it.
