Reasons to be cheerful

Spring is here! Brown bin collections start fortnightly from March 25th. Lighter evenings are back, as clocks go forward this weekend 27/28 March. Lockdown restrictions ease with two households being able to meet in a garden from next week.

The Duke is reopening under old management. We were grateful to Francis and his team for taking over the Duke last Spring. They tried so hard but it was bad timing due to the pandemic striking. However they will be reopening the Duke whilst new tenants are sought. The beer garden will open for outdoor drinks on April 12. If the UK Government lockdown restrictions lift according to planned timetable then inside drinks served at your seat should follow on May 17 and all restrictions lift from June 21
