Village pubs prepare to reopen
Both East Keswick pubs will reopen Saturday 4th July after a closure of three months due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Duke of Wellington will open at 12 and mark its full reopening with a celebratory BBQ from 1pm onwards. All places need to be reserved by phoning 01937 574647. As capacity is limited to ensure safety and demand will be high, it’s recommended that places are reserved early to avoid disappointment. Tickets are £10 per person (under 12s half price). From Sunday onwards the new 4-9-4 menu will run. Drinkers are welcome but won’t be able to stand at the bar. Please remember that capacity has had to be reduced for social distancing therefore it’s even more important to book early
Throughout the three months of the Pandemic the Duke provided a much valued takeaway meal service and home deliveries for the elderly. From July 4th the pub will be fully open for drinks and/or meals.
The Old Star will reopen from Saturday 4th July at 12 noon. Social distancing rules need to observed but Dave and the staff look forward to welcoming everyone back.
