Travellers return but are leaving

Crabtree Lane car park has seen the second wave of traveller visits in a fortnight after years without incident. In the latest four caravans arrived on Friday 24th April. The Parish Council is working with authorities in Leeds to find a lasting solution to the problem. Saturday 25th April saw the annual Village Litter Pick and two council employees who attended as part of this initiative went to speak to the travellers who assured them they were moving on quickly. The Leeds City Council team will revisit the car park over the weekend and organise any additional clean ups needed.
