Speed trap on Main Street catches two.
Two people are to be contacted by Police following a joint Police/Parish Council speed trap on Main Street.
Speeding traffic is a regular concern voiced by villagers and as a result two parish councillors have been trained to operate speed detection guns known as 'SiD'.
On Thursday 2nd June, PCSO Jackson with two parish councillors used the device on Main Street. As a result, two motorists were reported for exceeding the 30mph limit. Each will receive a letter drawing attention to their driving.
More speed traps are planned.
