Sixth beer festival a huge success

The accounts have yet to be completed but expectations are high that this year's East Keswick Beer Festival will have made in excess of three thousand pounds profit.

David Wort wants to thank all the hard working volunteers who contributed to this success. Four hundred people enjoyed their selection from 23 beers, plus live music and great pub food. In turn, Peter Guilfoyle, Chairman of the Village Hall Committee wanted to publicly thank David for his hard work too.

The event brought together people from the village and neighbouring villages in a very enjoyable day. This annual fixture in the village calender will be eagerly awaited next year too. Special thanks must also go to the sponsors who are listed on the separate Beer Festival page of this website.
