Highways rule out intervention on Rosecroft problem
Leeds City Council Highways officers have made a number of site visits to the Rosecroft/Whitegate junction at the suggestion of the Parish Council. Residents of Rosecroft had voiced their concerns regarding the difficulty of negotiating the junction when cars are parked opposite. Residents of Whitegate, meanwhile, had said they were not unsympathetic to the problem but simply had nowhere else to park. Now Highways have agreed with them and said that any parking restrictions on the junction would simply force Whitegate residents to park on Rosecroft making a difficult problem worse.
