Parish Walks – if you missed the first, don’t miss the second: Mon 6 Jul 7pm

The short Parish walk took place on Monday 22 June when 12 villagers walked part of the village boundaries. It was a good turnout considering the change in the weather and we were delighted to see 3 new villagers join others in the walk. Our youngest walker was aged 10- well done! The longer walk is on Monday 6th July, meeting at St. Mary Magdalene's at 7.00pm.Its about 4 miles, will take a couple of hours and strong boots/shoes are advisable.

That evening's walk will take you into the river meadows on various footpaths near the parish boundary.

Hopefully we'll have a good response and wonder whether the encouragement of a beer at the end might help you decide to join us! If you have any queries, please contact John Priestley by phone  (572227) or email or any other Parish Councillor.

It costs nothing to come along, it's fun and you'll meet various villagers and see some good sights on the way, so just turn up!
