New plans submitted for Church Drive Housing
JWT Developments have submitted a revised planning application for the land they bought facing the Church Drive turning circle. This open piece of land had been left as grass when the area was first built on but subsequently sold by Leeds City Councils arms-length housing association Leeds North West Homes complete with outline planning permission for two detached bungalows. The developer who bought the land submitted plans for four homes which was opposed by local residents, the Parish Council and rejected by Leeds planners. A subsequent application for three homes met similar objections amid accusations that more land was being claimed than had been bought.
The latest plan is for two detached four-bedroomed houses and full information can be found at www.leeds.gov.uk/your-council/planning
