The road between East Keswick and North Leeds through Slaid Hill has reopened after delays and complications nearly doubled its planned closure time. The road was closed between Wike and Slaid Hill due to subsidence in early June. However the three week planned closure proved to be too optimistic and six weeks later the route was still closed. Leeds City Council said the work needed proved more challenging but the road reopened Monday 17 July
