Road into Wetherby centre to become one way
The main road into Wetherby from Boston Road roundabout is to become one way from July 17th for eighteen weeks. This road, past the Police Station, leading to the river bridge is to have major road works to facilitate the rebuilding of a supporting wall which collapsed during storms eighteen months ago.
Villagers heading for Wetherby will be able to access the route as usual, but return journeys will involve a diversion via Deighton Road and Privas Way, or past the fire station.
X99 buses leaving Wetherby for East Keswick will also be subject to diversions during that period.
