On Tuesday 19th April East Keswick Parish Council hosts its Annual Parish Assembly and all villagers are invited.

The event starts at 7.45pm in the Village Hall. Wine and nibbles will be provide. The event begins with the Chairman's introduction followed by the Parish Clerk explaining the financial accounts of the council. The Chairman - Andrew Batty - will then give his report explaining the role of the council and its activities over the past twelve months. There will then be reports on some specialist functions, such as Planning, before a collective Q&A.

David Gluck, the consultant hired by EKPC to help draft its Neighbourhood Plan will explain more about this important initiative which is now nearing its conclusion. 

The annual event is a good opportunity to network with other villagers as well as to meet the seven volunteer Parish Councillors and learn about their work.
