Refurbishment at the Duke of Wellington is ciomplete and villagers are delighted that the historic inn is looking the best for a decade.

The front bar or 'tap room' has being extended into the pool table area to make a much larger and cosier drinking area complete with two real fires. The previous lounge bar and restaurant are both refurbished with new wooden floors and bar area creating a lighter more airy feel. The restaurant has been refurbished too and now has a new fresh bistro menu. Beer choice is better than ever with four cask ales including a chnaging guest beer.

The Duke gained a new manager in the form of Martin earlier this Autumn, who brings a wealth of bistro experience having been part of the success stories of Leeds restaurants Leodis and Paris.

It's all good news for the Duke of Wellington Inn which in times past has been a sought after dining destination for clients from across the North Leeds area.
