The Duke of Wellington restaurant is to reopen from Sunday 11th July. A new chef has been hired who previously had been at The Bingley Arms. Sunday lunches are back on the menu together with dinner during the week.

The Duke of Wellington reopened this Spring and is receiving an injection of capital. New catering equipment has been fitted and major structural work to change the bar layout and replace windows is expected towards the end of Summer.

Taylors Landlord bitter is now a regular real ale alongside John Smiths whilst a third guest ale has included Old Perculiar, Daleside Old Legover and Golden Pippin in recent weeks.

Meals are served at lunchtimes Wednesdays to Sundays and in the evening Wednesdays to Saturdays.
